About me: My name is Douglas Brown and I am a proud veteran and owner of the State Farm Agency located at 158 Sullivan Ave, South Windsor, CT 06095. I earned the privilege of being a State Farm Agent in October of 2017. I say “earned” because a State Farm Agency is not a business you can simply buy, it’s a business that has to be rightfully earned and requires a passion for helping others. Prior to that I was a team member for another State Farm agency in Connecticut for eight years. I am able to offer Car Insurance, (both Personal Auto Insurance and Commercial Auto Insurance), Home Insurance (this includes Condo Insurance and Renter's Insurance), Business Insurance, and my favorite insurance.... Life Insurance!

As a veteran (Army Infantry) I have a passion for service and being the most excellent at whatever I do. Growing up in Canada (Toronto, Ontario) I always had a dream of moving to the USA. Both parents owned their own successful businesses and instilled in me to run my life with integrity and follow the "Golden Rule." My parent's work ethics and humility helped shape who I am today and I deservedly attribute all of my success to them.

I have been provided with an invaluable opportunity to create a stable life for my loved ones while also helping my community manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and achieve their dreams. State Farm continues to help my community grow and I am lucky to be a part of a company which invests into the growth of our country.

I graduated with Summa Cum Laude from Albertus Magnus College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science. Served in the army for 8 years and participated in two tours of duty.
