"Douglas Brown is a germ, who feeds off elderly, unwell people. He has no idea of the products he sells, he is just another sales person. He gets paid for what he sells. Yes, their prices may be lower and if you’re a potential “buyer” they will bend over to help you. But try putting in a claim Then it’s your turn to bend over bcuz Douglas brown and SF are there to screw you. (Like a good neighbor) See how quick they are with returning your calls. Douglas brown sold my husband an annuity with the understanding that if and when he dies i would get the remaining monies. He repeatedly said this to myself, my husband, and a friend. SF use to be a respectable business that you could trust to have your back. After losing over a hundred thousand to them Douglas Brown says to me “i am only human, i make mistakes” and the mother ship backed him up. Your day will come Douglas Brown, i hope i am here to read about it. And any comments you have, I’d like you to make in person."

"Monthly rates are good. Claim process including support from the SF “agent”, horrendous. We put one claim in for roof damage, shingles ripped off during a storm. SF claim agreed to pay to replace HALF a roof! Who replaces half a roof?? We’re also on a corner lot, so the entire roof is visible from the street. We voiced our concerns to multiple ppl at SF. The claims adjuster had an attitude from the get-go. We then tried to work with our agent (Doug) and we were told, oh ya I agree with your concern, nothing I can do, I would be upset too, you should hire a lawyer (to go after State Farm!) The entire process was a nightmare! We immediately dropped SF after this. Funny how now (a few years later) I’m get solicited to come back, email, text and phone call!! Take me off your list! SF is the worst!!!"
